AM was a huge record when it came out. It's pretty synonymous with 2014 tumblr. It's a really niche time period in internet culture because you had to be there to experience it. I was one of the girlies on tumblr dot com in 2014 that was heavily influenced by the popularity of artists and bands that were popular during this time, including the Arctic Monkeys.
I mean, they were already a well established rock band in the 2000s. But this record really blew them up in popularity. Even today, it's crazy getting a ticket for them.
This song is one of my favourites from this record. It's cool, it's playful, it's fun to sing and dance to. Their sound has changed after this record. They're aren't so pop anymore but I still enjoy all of their music from their different eras.
