I have seen posts by this new festival called Soulrise Festival. It was super intriguing to me because its location is at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver. I've literally had no inkling of what this festival will be or who they will have. And I'm super interested in any electronic music festival here in Vancouver. And you can't imagine how surprised when I saw the lineup announcement yesterday.
Anyma...you're joking??? He hasn't played in Canada before so this is so exciting that this is happening here. I was convinced that I'd have to travel if I wanted to see him live. I'm so shocked that he is bringing his Aedan show here. I wonder what it's going to be like. I know the tickets are going to be hella expensive.
And I'm really happy about the supporting lineup too.
Korolova - I've walked past her set at EDCO and watched for a bit. She was amazing from what I saw.
Argy - also played at EDCO but I couldn't make it to the festival when his set was on. Excited to see him.
Kevin de Vries - also played at EDCO, I've seen bits of his set as I went back and forth from Neon Garden and Kinetic Field. Would be great to see him again.
Son of Son - I haven't seen him live, but I would love to.
This is so exciting.
