I listened to Pencey Prep a lot when I was in grade 8.
In grade 8, I was listening to a lot of EDM and then I sort of transitioned to listening to a lot of these emo and metalcore bands. This was the peak year I was into My Chemical Romance. I was a big fan and naturally I was listening to the members' other projects.
Pencey Prep is Frank Iero's band before he was in MCR. I listened to this record a lot and it reminds me sitting outside of my high school on a nice day like today. My life was so simple back then at 13 and listening to this song reminds me how little conflict I had.
