I was literally 13 when this song came out.
This was the peak year when I was into EDM. Deadmau5 was one of the first artists that got me into electronic music, especially progressive house. I guess people perceive Deadmau5 as corny because of his image and radio hits. He was literally everything to me at this age. I thought he was cool and I liked his music. I know that he seems like an ass and takes nothing serious, especially with what happened at Coachella. And I knew that to be true since I was a kid watching youtube videos of him and I was a fan regardless.
But anyway, I remember when this song was finally released. I remember being in my bedroom at my old house. I'd have an actual radio on some FM station and this song played and I was so hyped about it because you don't often hear his music on the radio.
